Vintage A335B pendant lamp designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek and manufactured in Finland by Valaistustyö.

Designed in the 1950s, the A335B is characterised by its sculptural layered shade, softly rounded forms and tall central stem. The overlapping painted-metal sections diffuse and direct the light while creating the lamp’s distinctive architectural silhouette.

This is a less commonly encountered example manufactured by Valaistustyö, making it a particularly interesting piece for collectors of early Finnish modernist lighting. The lamp is finished entirely in white, giving the sculptural form a clean and understated appearance.
