The Artek 81A table is one of Alvar Aalto’s most timeless and versatile table designs. With its clean rectangular top and Aalto’s signature bentwood L-legs, the table has a simple, functional and elegant expression that works beautifully as a dining table, desk or work table. The proportions are generous enough for everyday dining, while still being compact and light enough for smaller interiors.

This example has a warm birch tone and the classic understated Artek character. The table is in clean overall condition. There are a few small dents on the edge of the tabletop, but otherwise the surface and structure are presentable and well kept. The signs of use are minor and consistent with age.
