Artek Chair 69 by Alvar Aalto with Dark Grey Upholstery

Designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek, Chair 69 is one of the most recognisable examples of Finnish modernist furniture design. Originally introduced in the 1930s, the chair combines a practical everyday form with Aalto’s characteristic use of bent birch.

The chair features a warm birch frame, gently curved backrest and a dark grey upholstered seat. Its lightweight construction and balanced proportions make it suitable as a dining chair, desk chair or occasional seating.
