Original Artek Chair 69 in birch with a white laminate seat, designed by Alvar Aalto. Chair 69 is one of Aalto’s classic seating designs, combining a simple curved backrest with the characteristic bent birch legs that define much of his work for Artek.
The natural birch frame is paired with a clean white laminate seat, giving the chair a light and versatile appearance. The combination works especially well around a dining table, but the chair is equally suited for cafés, meeting spaces or other interiors where a durable and understated seat is needed.
The warm tone of the aged birch gives the chair more character than newer examples. A practical piece of classic Finnish design that works easily in both contemporary and vintage interiors.
