Alvar Aalto Stool E60 for Artek, Orange Lacquered Birch

This Artek Stool E60 was designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured in Finland in 2018. The four-legged, stackable stool combines natural birch legs with an orange-painted and lacquered birch seat.

Alvar Aalto designed Stool E60 in 1934 as the four-legged version of his iconic bentwood stool. Manufactured by Artek in Finland, its compact, stackable form can be used as a seat, side table or display surface.

The four L-shaped legs are solid birch with a natural finish. The round birch seat has an orange-painted and lacquered surface, and the legs are mounted directly to its underside.
