Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman – Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra, Santos Palisander and Black Leather

This authentic Vitra Eames Lounge Chair with matching Ottoman was designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured in 2010. The classic-size set combines moulded plywood shells in Santos palisander veneer with black Premium F leather upholstery and black aluminium bases.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956, the Lounge Chair and Ottoman reinterpret the traditional club chair through moulded plywood construction, generous leather cushions and a reclining profile. This original Vitra example was manufactured in 2010 and retains its manufacturer labels.

The chair and Ottoman feature moulded plywood shells finished in Santos palisander veneer, removable cushions upholstered in black Premium F semi-aniline leather, and die-cast aluminium bases. The chair has a five-star swivel base, while the Ottoman has a four-star non-swivel base.
