The Seita sofa was produced by Vilka in Finland during the 1970s. Its low, generous profile combines a warm lacquered pine frame with softly buttoned cushions upholstered in a beige and brown striped fabric.
The structure is defined by broad pine side frames, rounded wooden armrests and a clearly expressed rear construction. Three shaped wooden back panels support the loose back cushions, while the continuous lower rail gives the sofa a grounded horizontal character.
This example retains a clean and balanced appearance, with the warm tone and visible grain of the pine contrasting gently with the textured upholstery. The three-seat format offers relaxed seating without making the frame visually heavy.
A distinctive example of Finnish 1970s furniture, the Seita works especially well in interiors that favour natural materials, warm wood and understated vintage design.
