Yrjö Kukkapuro Karuselli armchair - Haimi 1960s - Red Leather

Yrjö Kukkapuro designed the Karuselli family for Haimi during the 1960s and early 1970s. Model 418, often called the “little Karuselli,” carries the same sculptural lines and ergonomic thinking as the iconic lounge chair but in a more compact and playful form.

This version comes in bold red with a fibreglass shell and leather upholstery. The shape wraps around the sitter and rotates on a pedestal base, making it a comfortable choice for living rooms, reading corners or studio spaces. A classic example of Finnish modernism with strong personality.
