The Pulkka series by Ilmari Lappalainen is best known for its iconic lounge chair, but this coffee table version is significantly more uncommon. Designed in the late 1960s, it follows the same visual language with its bent steel base and clean, architectural lines.

This example features a square marble top measuring 80 x 80 cm. The marble surface gives the otherwise industrial form a refined and almost sculptural character. Versions with a marble top are extremely rare, and this piece is considered a prototype model. It is not something that surfaces often, especially in this condition.
