This vintage Togo two-seater sofa was designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in 1973. Produced in France in the 1980s, it is upholstered in black synthetic leather and defined by a low profile, deep folds and relaxed sculptural form.
Michel Ducaroy designed the Togo for Ligne Roset in 1973. The enduring French design is known for its ergonomic, low-slung shape and distinctive quilted cover. This example dates from the 1980s.
The sofa is constructed entirely from multiple densities of foam, with generous polyester quilting beneath an oversized black synthetic leather cover. Buttoned threads reinforce the elasticity of the foam and create the characteristic folds.
