Original vintage Karuselli lounge chair with matching ottoman, designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro in 1964 and manufactured in Finland by Haimi.

Karuselli is one of the most recognisable pieces of Finnish furniture design. Its sculptural fibreglass shell, rotating pedestal base and deeply reclined seating position were developed around the shape and natural posture of the human body. The result is an exceptionally comfortable chair with a strong and unmistakable silhouette.

This example features black leather upholstery combined with a white fibreglass shell and chrome-plated support. The matching ottoman continues the same organic shape and completes the set.
