Vintage “Leo” bookshelf designed by Ilmari Lappalainen for Asko in Finland in the 1950s. Made from lacquered birch, the shelf has a light and sculptural construction with long horizontal shelves intersecting the two vertical supports.
The rounded edges and gently shaped ends give the piece a softer appearance than a conventional bookcase, while the warm birch surface highlights the natural character of the wood.
