The Big Diamond Chair is one of Harry Bertoia’s most iconic designs, created in 1952 for Knoll. With its sculptural wire frame and airy form, the chair is both functional seating and a piece of modern art. Its expansive, diamond-shaped structure provides comfort while highlighting Bertoia’s mastery of industrial materials and organic geometry.
This example comes in black lacquered steel and features original rubber shock mounts, which make the seat flexible and significantly more comfortable compared to the standard Diamond Chair. Designed to be used with or without upholstery, the chair works beautifully as a statement piece in living rooms, studios, or modern interiors.
