Ilmari Lappalainen Pulkka Lounge Chair with Ottoman – Cowhide Print Canvas
The Pulkka lounge chair designed by Ilmari Lappalainen for Asko is one of the most recognizable Finnish lounge chairs of the 1960s and 1970s. Its relaxed, low profile and bent metal frame give the chair a light appearance while still providing excellent comfort.
This example comes with the matching ottoman and features striking cowhide print upholstery on canvas. The bold pattern highlights the sculptural shape of the chair and creates a strong visual statement. The white metal frame contrasts nicely with the black and white upholstery.
A great piece for a living room, reading corner or lounge setting where both comfort and character matter.
