Yrjö Kukkapuro 416 Junior Chair for Haimi in Beige Leather

Designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro for Haimi, the 417 Junior chair is one of the most recognizable examples of Kukkapuro’s playful and functional design language. Its sculptural fiberglass shell, soft flowing lines, and swivel base give the chair a strong visual identity while keeping it highly practical for everyday use.

This example has been reupholstered in beige leather, which gives the chair a fresh and refined look while pairing beautifully with the white shell and base. The soft leather adds warmth to the more graphic form, making the chair work especially well in both modern interiors and more characterful vintage settings.

The chair is also marked with the Haimi manufacturer’s label. The chair’s scale and clear profile allow it to work naturally as an individual seating piece in both contemporary and vintage interiors.

Reupholstered in beige leather. The upholstery has not been used since reupholstery. The frame is in good and clean vintage condition. Please review all images for details.
