The H99 extendable dining table by Alvar Aalto for Artek combines an oval white laminate top with natural birch sleeve legs. The broad surface and rounded ends give the table a generous, welcoming form, while the pale wood adds warmth to the clean white finish.

A separate extension leaf fits into the centre of the tabletop, providing additional space for dining or gathering. When not in use, the leaf can be stored beneath the top. The birch HL2 sleeve legs provide a distinctive structural detail, keeping the table’s outline clear and balanced.

This example bears an Artek label confirming manufacture in Finland in 2004. Its clean laminate surface and very good overall condition make it ready for everyday use in a kitchen or dining room.
