Chair 66 by Alvar Aalto for Artek, with a blue linoleum seat and birch frame.

The round seat, bent wooden legs and tall, open backrest are characteristic of Aalto’s enduring design, introduced in 1935.

This vintage example has a richly worn surface, with decades of patina and traces of use preserved. The muted blue seat gives it a distinctive character as a collector’s piece.

One chair is available, sold individually. The owner reports that it has not been restored.
