Designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek in 1935, the K65 high chair pairs a low backrest with a curved footrest and Aalto’s characteristic bent L-legs.
These four examples have beautifully patinated birch frames and red linoleum seats. The red surfaces are very well preserved. Four matching vintage examples make an appealing group around a high table or kitchen counter.
The chairs are in good vintage condition. One backrest has minor veneer damage, shown in the photographs. Additional close-up images are available on request.
Four chairs are available, sold individually. Stored in Kalasatama, Helsinki.
