Vintage Alvar Aalto Hat Rack 1940s

A rare early wall hat rack designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek in the 1940s. It is a great example of Aalto’s calm, practical style, where the shape is simple but still special. The bentwood triangle supports are classic Aalto and you see the same idea in his famous stools.

The slatted back keeps it light on the wall, and the birch frame and bentwood supports feel solid. The original metal hooks are great for coats, hats, and scarves. It fits nicely in a hallway, entry, or even a bedroom.
