A pair of nesting tables by Alvar Aalto for Artek, finished throughout in warm natural birch. The gently rounded corners and bent legs give the compact forms a light, balanced appearance, while the visible grain brings warmth to the simple surfaces.

The smaller table fits beneath the larger one, making the pair useful beside a sofa or armchair. They can also be used separately when an extra surface is needed. This set is thought to date from the 1990s.

Sold together as one set of two tables.
