Artek X800C Fan-Leg Coffee Table, Ash, 2008

X800C coffee table designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek, with an ash-veneered top and sculptural birch fan legs. This example was made in Finland in 2008, as marked on the underside label.

The legs open into a fan at each corner, meeting the square tabletop in a distinctive, flowing joint. The warm wood tones and visible grain give the table a light, natural presence.

Designed in 1954, the X800 series combines Aalto's exploration of bent wood with a practical table form. This compact example works well beside a sofa or as a central coffee table.

The table is in very good condition, with no significant defects reported by the owner. The surfaces and fan-leg details remain particularly well preserved. Sold individually.
